2015 Archdiocesan Stewardship Appeal
The 2015 Archdiocesan Stewardship Appeal has begun.

The goal for our parish this year is $68,000.

While this is a large amount of money during difficult times for us all, if each parish family would make a commitment to help in some way we can certainly reach and even exceed our goal as we have for the past 7 years.

We are hopeful that EVERY parish family will contribute something to this Appeal.  Perhaps you could make a sacrificial gift to the Cardinal’s Appeal part of your Lenten observance this year.

Over the next couple of weeks please pray about what part your family can play to make the Appeal this year successful for our parish especially if you have not given in the past.

Each week we will update the parish on our progress and closeness to our goal.  Thank you for your constant support, care and love.  And, thank you in advance for your generous gifts which will make the 2015 Cardinal’s Appeal successful!

Please include:
Parish Name: Saint Anthony of Padua #537
Parish Location: West Harrison

Day of Spirituality - Lenten Retreat
Saturday, March 14th - 9:30am - 3:30pm
Father Peter Hall

Our Lenten journey has begun and God is inviting all of us to enter the mystery of our faith more deeply with the potential for self-discovery, healing, insight and spiritual growth.  This Lent let us discover ourselves in a whole new way and take the opportunity to explore the possibilities we have been given and the gifts we carry deep within us as we join our fellow parishioners for a Lenten Day of Retreat here at St. Anthony’s on Saturday, March 14th from 9:30am to 3:30pm in Fr. Peter Hall (Lower Church).  Our Presenter will be Sister Nancy Erts, a Dominican Sister of Hope and Program Specialist at Mariandale Retreat and Conference Center in Ossining, NY.

The Day will include prayer, conferences, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, lunch and the celebration of the Eucharist.  The cost is $20.

DO SAVE THE DATE AND ENCOURAGE FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO COME!

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Every Wednesday through May
8:30am - 6:00pm
During this time we will also recite the rosary at 2:30 pm and the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3:00 pm.  We are in great need of people, especially in the afternoons, to make and keep a firm commitment for a half hour, or a one hour pledge, so that Our Lord will never be left unattended.  Please register your name with Brittney, in the Parish Office, along with the time you intend to spend in attendance. Subsequently, it is understandable that on some occasions, due to circumstance beyond your control, you may not be able to make your time. For such instances it is imperative that you call Brittney, so that an alternate can be arranged. Likewise, this also means that we are seeking at least two alternates, who would be available on a moment’s notice, to cover in such emergencies.
Thank you, and God Bless you.
